Hiwatt Endorsees, The Sweet Gorilla Band, will be launching the Conway Wickliffe Trust on Nov 12th with a follow up fundraising concert on March 6th 2010. Lead Guitarist and vocalist of Sweet Gorilla, Pavan Sharda, was a personal friend of Conway Wickliffe, whom the trust is dedicated to. In Sept 2007 Conway was tragically killed in an accident on the making of the Batman film, Dark Knight. The band’s forthcoming album KIA ORA is dedicated to Conway. They have pledged £1.00 of each album sale to the Trust which aims to help children to attain materials and instruments if they cannot afford to do so themselves worldwide. Schools will also be able to top-up their depleted Musical and Arts budgets by applying to the fund. With every application instruments or materials will be provided directly by the Trust through authorized retailers. On the Musical side the band will recommending HIWATT to all applicants.
